RTL Unveils F1 Commercial Prices; Brazil, Canada, U.S., Monaco Are Most Expensive

IP Deutschland, the marketing partner of German private TV channel RTL, has unveiled the commercial prices for the '13 F1 season, which starts in March, according to Alexander Krei of DWDL. The most-expensive races are the season finale in Brazil, the races in Canada and the U.S. as well as the Grand Prix of Monaco with a price of €84,000 ($113,000) for a split-screen spot. A 30-second commercial in one of the earlier race starts at €2,100 ($2,800). IP Deutschland CEO & Head of Sales Matthias Dang said, "We will continue to offer our advertising costumers the best-value in the top class of motorsports. Due to that we have slightly adjusted the prices for the upcoming season" (DWDL, 1/28).
