The Australian Football League administration "was rocked with the sudden resignation of long-time Football Operations Manager ADRIAN ANDERSON." Rumors have Anderson "heading to North Melbourne to take over the CEO position, which has been vacant since EUGENE AROCCA quit" to take up the post of CEO of Confederation of Australian Motor Sport. Anderson, 40, "walks away from the key post after nine years." It is not yet known who will replace him (THE AUSTRALIAN, 12/5). ... After three years, A-League Perth Glory CEO PAUL KELLY has resigned from his position. Kelly will "finish in his role on Jan. 2." Chair & Owner TONY SAGE said that Kelly would still remain involved with Perth in an advisory role. Glory Deputy Chair LUI GIULIANI will take over from Kelly (HERALD SUN, 12/5). ... MATT CLARKE has resigned from English League Two club Wycombe Wanderers' board of directors with immediate effect. Clarke cited a desire to spend more time with is family after recently becoming a father (Wycombe Wanderers). ... The Asian Golf Industry Federation "unanimously voted" for Bae, Kim & Lee senior foreign lawyer TIM TRINKA to lead the industry body for the next two years. He has worked at the law firm in Seoul for more than 20 years (GOLF BUSINESS NEWS, 12/4).

MANAGERS/COACHES: Bundesliga club Hannover 96 "has reportedly extended its contract with head coach MIRKO SLOMKA until '16." Slomka, whose contract expires at the end of the season, "has been the club's head coach since Jan. 19, 2010" (SID, 12/4). ... Ukraine's football federation "is holding talks with former England Manager SVEN-GÖRAN ERIKSSON about running the former Soviet republic's national team." A federation spokesperson said, "An offer has been made, negotiations are under way" (REUTERS, 12/5). ... Dutch football club Feyenoord Rotterdam has extended the deal of its coach RONALD KOEMAN until '14. The former Dutch int'l defender "has been at the club since '11" (AFP, 12/5). ... Former Argentinean player JORGE BURRUCHAGA on Monday "inked the contract" with Atlético de Rafaela as coach of the football club. Burruchaga will debut next weekend against the current champion Club Atlético Vélez Sársfield. The 50-year-old "was the coach of Paraguay's team Club Libertad last season" (XINHUA, 12/4).
