The EPL will hold the annual Christmas Truce Tournament this weekend. It is a unique, int'l youth development competition to honor the sacrifice made by previous generations of football players in World War I. The Premier League will be represented by ManU and West Brom. The Belgian Pro League has three teams taking part this year: Anderlecht, Beerschot and Club Brugge. The German Bundesliga will be represented by FC Schalke 04 and Borussia Mönchengladbach. The French team will have a sole representative, Valenciennes (EPL).
MAKING A MOVE: The HSBC Women's Champions will now be hosted on Singapore's Sentosa Island for the first time. The '13 edition of the $1.4M tournament will take place Feb. 28-March 3 at the Serapong Course of the Sentosa Golf Club, which will continue to play host through '15 (HSBC).
