Championship club Leicester City has appointed Chinese businessman LIU SHILAI to its board of directors. He will become vice chairman, alongside AIYAWATT RAKSRIAKSORN and the board, after the move was ratified by the league. He will presume his role on Dec. 1 (Leicester City). ... France top 14 Perpignan President PAUL GOZE was elected as head of the National Rugby League (LNR) for the next four years (LE PARISIEN, 11/16). ... Liverpool Dir of Communications JEN CHANG has left his post by way of "mutual consent." Chang, who was appointed in May, was recently "involved in a controversial meeting in Manchester with SEAN CUMMINS," a Liverpool fan behind the parody Duncan Jenkins Twitter account that claimed to have inside knowledge of the club (London GUARDIAN, 11/16).
