BBC To Broadcast UCI Track Cycling World Cup In Glasgow Nov. 16-18

The Int'l Cycling Union Track Cycling World Cup in Glasgow, Scotland from Nov. 16-18 will be broadcast on BBC TV -- including the red button -- and online at bbc.co.uk/sport. The event sold out within an hour and will be the first major int'l track cycling event in the U.K. since the Summer Olympics. Coverage has increased this year to include live action and highlights over three days. The BBC broadcast schedule is as follows:

  • Nov. 16: 7.10pm - 10:10pm - red button and bbc.co.uk/sport.
  • Nov. 17: 1pm - 2pm - BBC One and bbc.co.uk/sport; 7:55pm -10:20pm - red button and bbc.co.uk/sport.
  • Nov. 18: 1:45pm - 5:30pm - BBC Two and bbc.co.uk/sport.
The racing is also live on BBC Five Live Sports Extra on Friday and Saturday with Five Live Sport being presented from the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome on Sunday. The sell-out competition is the second of a three-round Track Cycling World Cup series (British Cycling).
