Australian Baseball League Games To Air On Australian National TV

The Australian Baseball League has announced a new TV partnership that will see Fox Sports show a ''Game of the Week'' throughout the '12-13 ABL season. The weekly hour-long program will feature a condensed ABL game along with news, highlights and feature stories from around the league, as well as Australian grassroots baseball and MLB. ABL CEO Peter Wermuth said that expanding television coverage of games beyond the ABL Championship Series and ABL All-Star Game is a "significant step forward" for one of the country's newest sports leagues, now entering only its third season. The weekly program will air Thursdays from 4-5pm EST (ABL).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown. SBJ’s Tom Friend also joins the show to share his insights into NBA viewership trends.
