IMG-Reliance And TEN Sports Sign New Three-Year Deal
All India Football Federation (AIFF) commercial partner IMG-Reliance has agreed to a three-year deal with TEN Sports to broadcast I-League and Federation Cup competitions, according to Sudhir Tripathi of the TNN. Ten Sports will receive broadcast rights on multiple platforms, including TV, IPTV, DTH, HITS, Internet TV and mobile. As part of this deal, TEN Sports will broadcast the I-League competition through its football channel TEN Action, for three consecutive seasons beginning with the 2012-13 season. Beginning Saturday, TEN Action will telecast 75 live and delayed matches throughout the season. TEN Action also has the mandate for telecasting the Federation Cup for the next two seasons beginning in '13 (TNN, 10/3).
