The Macedonia Football Federation said "Macedonia Coach John Toshack is not ready to meet the requirements of Chairman ILCO GJORGJIOSKI and agreed to terminate his contract." The Welshman had been in charge for eight games (REUTERS, 8/13). ... Constantin Sport Media CEO FLORIAN NOWOSAD announced that "he will resign from his position on Sept. 30 due to personal reasons." The 48-year-old Nowosad will continue to work with the company in an advisory role. Constantin Sport Media Chair and Sport1 Managing Dir THILO PROFF together with Constantin Sport Media CFO MARKUS MAXIMILIAN STURM will take over Nowosad's responsibilities until a successor is found (W&V, 8/13).
