Challenge Tour Will Return To Germany For First Time Since 2010

The Challenge Tour will be back in Germany for a new tournament at Hartl Resort Bad Griesbach from July 4-7, 2013. Sports sponsorship agency 4sports & Entertainment AG will promote the event that will take place in Bavaria, for a minimum of three years. It will be the first Challenge Tour tournament to be played in Germany since the ECCO Tour Championship was held in Winsen in '10.The Hartl Resort boasts five 18-hole golf courses, three of which are designed by two-time Masters Champion Bernhard Langer. Challenge Tour Dir Alain de Soultrait welcomed the return of the Tour to Germany. De Soultrait: "With Martin Kaymer among our most celebrated graduates, it is only fitting that we should host a Challenge Tour event in Germany" (Challenge Tour).
