Multivitamin company Swisse "signed Queensland Firebirds star Laura Geitz as its netball brand ambassador" for '13, after asking its Facebook fans to choose between five ANZ Championship players. The season-long campaign pitched Geitz against Erin Bell (Adelaide Thunderbirds), Madison Browne (Melbourne Vixens), Natalie Medhurst (Queensland Firebirds) and Natalie von Bertouch (Adelaide Thunderbirds) for the one-year contract. Geitz polled 32% of votes, her closest competitor Erin Bell received 27% (SPONSORSHIPNEWS.com.au, 7/25).
