Survey Reveals That 73% Of German Sport Fans Watch Football On TV

A recent study revealed that German sport fans "are most interested in watching football and the Olympic Games on TV," according to Thomas Mersch of HANDELSBLATT. Motorsports in general is only watched by 25%, which puts it ahead of handball and tennis. Only football and the Olympic Games could generate a higher number of interest than F1, with 73% and 64%, respectively (HANDELSBLATT, 7/22).
