EA Sports Agrees To Three-Year Partnership With Tottenham Hotspur

EA Sports and Tottenham Hotspur FC have agreed to a three-year partnership that will make EA Sports "the official video game partner" of the EPL club, according to Michael Plant of the London INDEPENDENT. Tottenham will visit the U.S. for a three match pre-season tour that will see them play the L.A. Galaxy and N.Y. Red Bulls on July 24 and 31. While in N.Y., EA Sports will "apparently be conducting 3D head scans of the club’s players" to enable the FIFA development team to capture high-quality and authentic 3D digital player models for future versions of the game. Tottenham and EA have confirmed they will be developing a range of initiatives to "entertain and engage fans" at the Spurs' stadium, White Hart Lane, and across their media channels (INDEPENDENT, 7/20).
