Mercedes Sets Deadline For Schumacher

F1 team Mercedes set a deadline for Michael Schumacher's decision about his future, according to the DPA. Seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher has not made a decision about his future in the racing series. The 43-year-old German, whose current three-year contract expires at the end of the season, has to make up his mind in the next six weeks. Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn said, "We have to make a decision about the upcoming season in the next six weeks. As soon as this decision is made, we will know if we have to look for another driver or if our lineup stays the same" (DPA, 7/4).
