BLACKOUT: The MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS reported that TV viewers across Greater Manchester were "dismayed by a blackout" during England's match against Ukraine last night. The blackout occurred 10 minutes after kickoff and a "number of Virgin Media customers" were left with no game. The error is linked to a power failure in Salford and Virgin Media said "they were investigating the problem." They did not comment on the number of homes affected (MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS, 6/20).
