Del Bosque To Coach Spain Through 2014 World Cup

Spain football coach Vicente Del Bosque has extended his deal until '14, according to AS. Del Bosque has been in charge of the national team since their 2008 Euro victory under Luis Aragones. Under Del Bosque's command the team has played 57 times, winning 48, tying three and losing six. He led Spain to its first World Cup triumph in '10 in South Africa (AS, 6/17). Marca's Miguel Angel Lara Gniewino reported that Del Bosque preferred to wait until the Euro 2012 was over to sign any deal, but the leaders of the Spanish Football Federation "insisted that nothing would make them change their opinion" (MARCA, 6/17).
