Rio de Janeiro-based Vasco da Gama FC will wear the Rio +20 logo on the sleeve of its jersey during this weekend’s clash with Palmeiras FC in honor of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development which takes place in Rio June 20-22 (Vasco da Gama FC).

NAVARRA DEAL: Basket Navarra Club, which plays in Spain’s second division has signed a sponsorship agreement with Planasa for the next three years. The agricultural company will be the basketball teams’ main sponsor (Basket Navarra Club).

WHERE'S THE CROWD: ASIASPONSORSHIPNEWS.com reported that soft-drink brand Yeo has put on notice the Football Association of Singapore as it reviews its co-title sponsors of the S-League. Reports suggest that Yeo has been "less than impressed by the attendance figures" for the league. Senior Marketing Manager Lye Yin Wong said that "the decision to renew will depend on the Association's plans to bring crowds back to matches." Yeo is paying S$1.8M ($1.4M) over three years for the sponsorship (ASIASPONSORSHIPNEWS.com, 6/14).
