Metrodome Items Put Up For Sale Ahead Of Venue Being Torn Down
Published November 17, 2013
About "a dozen items" from the Metrodome were listed online on Friday as the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority looks "to clear out the Dome before it's torn down in about two months." Initial items for sale "include flooring, outdoor benches, folding chairs and a John Deere tractor, which was going for nearly $10,000 as of Saturday." All are non-football-related items. The rest will be posted after the Vikings' season ends. The money raised in the auction "will go into the authority's general fund" (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 11/17).
