MLB FanFests: Large Crowds For Giants, D'Backs; "Bitter" Fans In Miami

The Marlins’ Winter Warm Up at Marlins Park yesterday saw "several thousand fans," many of which were "bitter." Marlins President of Baseball Operations Larry Beinfest said, “I understand where the fans are coming from and the upheaval. But it is time to turn the page" (MIAMI HERALD, 2/10).
The Padres’ FanFest at Petco Park yesterday drew 13,944 fans, with the Padres Garage Sale “a big hit,” raising $64,395 to benefit the Padres Foundation (MLB.com, 2/9).
D'Backs President & CEO Derrick Hall estimated the crowd at the team’s Subway FanFest at Chase Field yesterday to be "around 25,000 fans" (MLB.com, 2/9).
