Bose Signs Mikaela Shiffrin To Deal Ahead Of PyeongChang Games

Bose has signed Gold Medal-winning U.S. skier Mikaela Shiffrin to a one-year endorsement deal, she and her agent, Kilian Albrecht, confirmed. Shiffrin appeared in a 13-minute Facebook live video from Vail yesterday in which she described as a photo shoot for Bose promotions coming out around the ’18 PyeongChang Games. Albrecht said Bose expects to pursue a Rule 40 waiver from the USOC for the campaign, which it would need as a non-Olympics sponsor to use her image during the Games. Details of its planned activations are still to be determined.

Shiffrin’s other sponsors include Atomica, Barilla, Leki, Longines, Oakley, Red Bull and Reusch. Bose officials were unavailable for comment. Terms were not disclosed. CAA Sports advises Bose.
