Laugh Track: Celebration Day

NBC's Jimmy Fallon in his "Tonight Show" monologue talked about the NFL relaxing its rules on celebrations, noting “some celebrations are still banned.” Fallon: “Since it's a little confusing, we thought we'd bring someone on to explain what is and what isn't allowed. Please welcome, from the NFL competition committee, Andrew Carne, ladies and gentlemen.” Carne said, “Under no circumstances should they tear off their jerseys, put on a sailor cap, and do a made up dance called the Sweaty Sailor.” Fallon replied, “You're not going to do that tonight. No. No.” Carne then said, “Oh, I'm going to do it!” Carne proceeded to tear his shirt off, put on a sailor’s hat and dance on-stage (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 5/26).

NBC’s Fallon: “Congrats to LeBron James, who just became the NBA's all-time leading playoff scorer, ever. LeBron said that he couldn’t have done it without the help of his teammates, then his teammates said, ‘But you just did’” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 5/26).
