Univ. Of Minnesota Athletics Begins Tour To Gain Feedback From Fans

The Univ. of Minnesota today is beginning a three-day "Gophers Road Trip" through the southern part of the state in an effort to be "more open and accommodating to fans." UM AD Mark Coyle also has "established a fan council and fan loyalty program." More than 500 people "applied to be a part of the fan council; 25 were selected, with meetings beginning this spring." Coyle seeks feedback from "serious implications on how recent off-the-field scandals ... might have affected fans’ support of the Gophers to smaller, more detailed items such as how fans buy tickets, find parking places and receive service at concession stands" (ST.
