AT&T Byron Nelson Officials Begin Promoting '18 Event At New Course

The PGA Tour AT&T Byron Nelson wrapped up yesterday, and while tourney officials have "shown some restraint touting next year's move" to Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas, the event's website this morning was scheduled to "flip forward" to the '18 event. Tournament Dir Jon Drago said, "Next year is our 50th anniversary. We'll have that messaging. We'll have some photos of Trinity Forest." The tournament website will also "include a link that is especially tailored to potential corporate clients." Nelson officials "organized an AT&T sponsored 18-hole PGA Tour caddie tournament" for today at Trinity Forest in hopes that if caddies like the course, they will "tell their bosses to make sure and play in future" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 5/22).
