MLS Signs Three New International Television Agreements

MLS has signed three new international television agreements, adding league programming in Honduras, India and New Zealand. The deals include a partnership with Honduras’ R-Media, India’s DSport and New Zealand’s Television New Zealand. The deals call for the weekly airing of select regular season matches, as well as the league’s All-Star Game, playoff games and MLS Cup. In total, MLS is now distributed in more than 170 countries and territories around the world. Terms of the deals were not disclosed. MLS has a partnership with IMG through ’22 to market and distribute its global media rights.
