ESPN Lines Up Star Athletes For Upfront; Net To Unveil Audience Metric

Paul Pierce, Serena Williams, Joel Embiid and singer Kelly Rowland will make appearances at ESPN’s annual upfront presentation this morning at N.Y.’s Minskoff Theatre. ESPN’s main message to advertisers will be that ads on ESPN platforms will have more impact than ads focused solely on traditional television or digital platforms. As such, it plans to introduce a Total Live Audience measurement that wraps TV, streaming and out-of-home viewing into one number. During the event, ESPN also will unveil details around the following:

• Mike Greenberg-hosted morning show.
• One-hour show from 12:00-1:00pm ET on ESPN that will be hosted by Bomani Jones and Pablo Torre.
• New ESPN Radio morning show hosted by Mike Golic and Trey Wingo. Mike Golic Jr. will be a regular on the show, appearing every day in the 6:00-7:00am hour.
