Former Players Drop Appeal Of $1B Concussion Suit Against NFL

A district judge "signed off on the settlement" in April '15. Former NFLer Alan Faneca, who opposed the settlement, said that the group "decided not to prolong the process for at least another six months" (N.Y. POST, 8/31).
