NBA To Debut New Shot Clock At Las Vegas Summer League

The NBA will debut its redesigned Tissot-branded 24-second shot clock this week at the Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, with the system to be installed in every arena by the start of next season. The redesigned shot clock – part of a leaguewide sponsorship deal Tissot signed with the NBA last October – is made with transparent LED glass and includes Tissot signage at the bottom of the clock. The new system also simultaneously transmits exact timing data to all in-arena scoreboards and video equipment. This marks the first time the NBA will use the same game clocks and timing equipment across the league.
