Royals Victory Parade: FS K.C. Lines Up Live TV Coverage

FS K.C. will televise today's Royals World Series victory parade and celebration live starting at noon CT (Mult.). Schools "throughout the city and beyond are taking a 'snow day' so students can attend" (K.C. STAR, 11/3). The event is "expected to cost about $350,000." Officials said that the "bill will be largely footed by sponsors" (KCTV5.com, 11/2).

MLB runs a full-page ad in USA Today and the K.C. Star congratulating the Royals: "Baseball Royalty." Chevy runs a USA Today ad showing World Series MVP Salvador Perez on-field with his new '16 Chevy Camaro: "Perfect For The Guy Comfortable Handling Wicked Curves." Mets sponsor Citi runs an ad in the N.Y. Times: "Thanks For Making Citi Field The City's Field" (THE DAILY).

NBC's Jimmy Fallon said, "Since the Royals won, they'll get to meet President Obama, and since the Mets blew an early lead and lost, they get to meet Jeb Bush" (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 11/2). Read more on the World Series in today's Laugh Track.
