UFC Athlete Summit Features Domestic Violence Victims Advocate

Domestic violence victims advocate Kathy Redmond will be among the speakers at the UFC’s latest Athlete Summit, a two-day event that opens today at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Las Vegas. About 40 UFC-rostered athletes from 12 countries are scheduled to attend the program, which will be geared toward the circuit’s newcomers. Topics include athlete marketing, training, finance and nutrition. Redmond, founder of the National Coalition Against Violent Athletes and consultant to the NFL and other sports properties, will speak with both male and female UFC fighters Tuesday as part of a code of conduct review.
