Cavaliers To Announce Partnership With In-Venue App Tap.in2

Cleveland-based in-venue app platform Tap.in2 today will announce a partnership with the Cavaliers, officially launching into the sports and entertainment industry. Tap.in2 allows fans to purchase and receive food, drinks, merchandise and in-game experiences from their mobile devices to their seats in less than six minutes. The company’s technology can be integrated into existing team and venue apps, as it was during a pilot run of 22 Cavs games last season.

Tap.in2 co-Founder & CEO Jordan Syms said that the in-seat program streamlines the process for Quicken Loans Arena vendors and Aramark employees, who are tasked with delivering the orders. He explained, “Now instead of looking for sales, they’re delivering to people who have already completed the sale.” Syms added that Tap.in2 will be expanding into the NFL, NHL and NASCAR over the next couple of months.
