NFL Sources Shoot Down Report On Rams Relocating To L.A.

Two NFL sources "shot down a report" that the NFL will announce that the Rams are moving back to L.A. KTLA-CW's Glen Walker had reported that he "received a text from 'a reliable source' stating the NFL would be announcing the Rams' return to Southern California in August." Walker said that he "ran it past" Inglewood Mayor James Butts, and Butts replied, “You have a pretty good source.” However, Butts "emphatically denied saying that," and the story was "immediately and emphatically dismissed by the two league sources" (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 5/22).
