Laugh Track....Taking Sides

Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney appeared on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” last night and discussed his upcoming charity boxing match against Evander Holyfield. Romney said, “It’s going to be a very quick bout. … There’s a professional fight or two going on as well so people can watch those fights. Then we’ll do a little exhibition and maybe a bit of a dance.” Romney said of placing a wager versus host Jimmy Fallon on the Pacquiao- Mayweather fight, “I’m happy to take whichever side you don’t want. … I figure whatever you’re going to choose will lose.” Fallon said, “Well, I went for you in 2008 so there you go” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 3/25).

CBS’ David Letterman said of the Romney-Holyfield match, “Experts believe that Mitt Romney will last about as many rounds as Villanova” (“Late Show,” CBS, 3/25).

Last night’s edition of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” aired a March Madness edition of their regular segment “Lie Witness News” in which they approach unsuspecting people on the street to ask them questions.
