Lions Arrive In London For Int'l Series Game, Gearing Up For Busy Week

The Lions flew to London overnight ahead of Sunday’s game at Wembley Stadium against the Falcons, who flew to London on Sunday. The Lions today “will take part in a Play 60 event with London-area children at the Surrey Sports Park.” Regular practices and meetings are scheduled for Wednesday-Friday, and coach Jim Caldwell and several players “have a promotional appearance Friday night.” Both teams on Saturday will “take part in the NFL Fan Rally in Trafalgar Square” (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 10/21).
