MLSE Today Unveiling Plans For Massive Renovations To BMO Field

MLSE Chair Larry Tanenbaum and Toronto FC GM Tim Bezbatchenko today will unveil plans for BMO Field 2.0, “a massive renovation” that will turn the eight-year-old stadium into “something more than a ‘ready-to-assemble’ venue.” Renderings reveal “a stark upgrade, one with a luxury club level and the addition of a few thousand new seats under roofing.” The capacity is expected to increase to around 30,000 (TORONTO SUN, 9/23).
