Panasonic's New Deal With Hendrick Includes Primary Sponsorship

Panasonic has agreed to a three-year extension of its Hendrick Motorsports sponsorship, expanding to a deal that now includes primary sponsorship of Jeff Gordon's No. 24 Chevy for two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races and an associate status in all other events. This will mark the first on-car branding for Panasonic since it began backing Hendrick as a technology partner in '07. The new deal covers the '14-16 NASCAR seasons.

Meanwhile, engineering firm Michael Baker Int'l will debut its new logo on the hood of Hendrick's No. 88 Sprint Cup Series Chevy driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. during Sunday's GoBowling.com 400 at Pocono Raceway. Hendrick and Earnhardt are partnering with the firm to raise awareness about high school dropout rates (THE DAILY).

NBC Olympics’ Molly Solomon, ESPN’s P.K. Subban, the Masters and more

The second-ever MWC commissioner chats with SBJ’s Ross Nethery about her climb through the collegiate ranks. Nevarez is a member of SBJ’s Game Changers Class of 2019. Nevarez has had stints at the conference level in the Pac-12, West Coast Conference, and Mountain West Conference as well as at the college level at Oklahoma, Cal, and San Jose State. She shares stories of that journey as well as how being a former student-athlete guides her decision-making today.
