Sounders Top Timbers In Front Of Record Crowd At CenturyLink Field

The MLS Sounders beat the Timbers last night at CenturyLink Field in front of 67,385 fans, the "largest soccer crowd Seattle has ever seen." It was also the "second-largest attendance in MLS history for a game that wasn’t part of an international doubleheader," and was "one of the five largest crowds across the world over the weekend." Sounders MF Brad Evans said, "We’re always asked questions about those games that you remember. Obviously this will be one of them" (SEATTLE TIMES, 8/26).
