Super Bowl Host Committee Kicking Off Promo Tour In N.Y./N.J.

The Super Bowl XLVIII Host Committee this week kicks off its "Join the Huddle" promotional tour, a "four-truck caravan" set to visit 24 sites in New York and another 24 in New Jersey. It will run "until February when it will be parked between 35th and 36th Streets on Super Bowl Boulevard in midtown." Stops are "still being considered, but town fairs, carnivals and Pop Warner football games are on the target list." High school and college events are "on the table, too" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 8/22).
