SportsNet N.Y. Inks Deal To Carry Cosmos Home Games This Season

SportsNet N.Y. has signed a deal to carry all seven NASL N.Y. Cosmos home games this season, starting with tomorrow's match against the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers. SNY's broadcast booth will feature JP Dellacamera on play-by-play and Janusz Michallik as the analyst. As part of the deal, which SNY cut with the team's national network partner One World Sports, SNY will carry five "Cosmos Classics." One World Sports will produce the games and classics series. It is looking to sell the team's road games as well.

Meanwhile, Cosmos Honorary President Pelé today will "flip the switch" at the Empire State Building, lighting the building green to commemorate the team returning to play after 30 years. The Cosmos also will ring the NYSE Closing Bell tomorrow.
