Yankees Sponsor Delta Air Lines To Unveil Rivera-Themed Plane

Delta Air Lines this morning will unveil a 757 aircraft dedicated to Yankees P Mariano Rivera in the closer's farewell season. The plane will feature Rivera's number 42 and signature, and Delta also will present a custom model plane to him. Today's event at JFK Airport will include a ceremonial "last pitch" between Rivera and former catcher-turned-manager Joe Girardi. Delta has been the Yankees' official airline since November '08 (THE DAILY).
