Bobcats Hire Former MLS Fire Exec Beck As VP/Marketing Partnerships
Published May 10, 2013
The Bobcats named Dave Beck as the team’s VP/Marketing Partnerships. Beck previously worked for the MLS Fire, where he was VP/Corporate Partnerships. He begins his new job on Monday and replaces most of the duties previously held by Michael Wandell, who left the Bobcats earlier this year to work for NBA China. Beck will report to Bobcats Senior VP/Ticket Sales & Marketing Partnerships Flavil Hampsten.
Prior to joining the Fire in '11, Beck spent four years as Senior Dir of North American & Global Strategic Sourcing at HAVI Global Solutions, a worldwide packaging services company. From '01-07, Beck worked with the Wrigley Company as U.S. Marketing Manager for the company’s Altoids brand and Dir of U.S. Customer Support for Wrigley Sales.
