The Texas A&M Board of Regents today could announce that Kyle Field, the school's football stadium, "will be expanded to a capacity of 103,000" during the upcoming $450M renovations. The project would begin after the '13 season and end in August '16 (Bryan-College Station EAGLE, 5/1). Sources said that the '13 season "will be played before major work on the stadium itself is done." The phase in the next offseason will include "the tear-down and rebuild of the lower section of the east stands of the stadium" (KBTX.com, 4/30).
