MLS Hosting Summit For Canadian Teams, Broadcasters, Sponsors

MLS is hosting a summit today in Toronto for its Canada-based teams, broadcast partners and largest sponsors. Among the speakers will be MLS Commissioner Don Garber, President Mark Abbott and CMO Howard Handler, as well as SUM President Kathy Carter. A broadcasting panel will feature execs from TSN and RDS, while one on sponsorships will include representatives from BMO, Kia and Labatt/Budweiser. The summit ends with Toronto FC’s match against the Impact tonight at BMO Field, followed by a viewing party at Real Sports in Maple Leafs Square for the Whitecaps’ game against NASL club FC Edmonton in their Amway Canadian Championship leg.
