UFC, Joe Hand Promotions Extend Commercial Distribution Deal

UFC and Joe Hand Promotions announced a "multiyear extension" of their pay-TV agreement. The Pennsylvania-based company will continue to be UFC "exclusive commercial distributor" in the U.S. for closed circuit and PPV. The extension runs through '15. Joe Hand Promotions acquired UFC's commercial distribution rights in '01 and provides bars, restaurants and other commercial/public spaces with UFC live events (PHILLY.com, 2/27).
