A-B Wins USA Today Ad Meter; Ads "With Heart" Score Well

A-B returned to the top spot in USA TODAY's Super Bowl Ad Meter with its spot depicting "a heart-tugging tale of the bond between a trainer and the Budweiser Clydesdale he raised." In a year when "ads with heart got all the love" in the Ad Meter, A-B had a "return to marketing glory after slipping out of Ad Meter's top five last year." Procter & Gamble's Tide ad "pulled off a close No. 2, ahead of many Super Bowl regulars" (USA TODAY, 2/4).
The Dodge Ram "Farmer" spot was the highest-rated Super Bowl commercial, according to McKee Wallwork & Co.'s ad ranking website ADBOWL (McKee Wallwork & Co.). Tide's "miracle stain" ad won Northwestern Univ.'s ninth annual Kellogg School Super Bowl Advertising Review (Kellogg School of Management).
