N.Y. Mayor Michael Bloomberg appeared on NBC’s “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” last night, with host Jimmy Fallon telling him, “You had a busy, busy 2012. I want to thank you for bringing the Nets to Brooklyn this year. That was very, very cool.” Bloomberg noted the Knicks are playing well this year and said, “It’d be great if we had two championship teams this year” (“Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” NBC, 1/3).
NBC’s Jay Leno: “This weekend the NFL playoffs begin. The Vikings will be playing the Packers. The Seahawks are playing the Redskins, I believe. The Jets will be playing Angry Birds.
