ECU AD Terry Holland Will Step Down, Become AD Emeritus

East Carolina Univ. AD Terry Holland is stepping down and "will transition to the role of athletic director emeritus, effective when the school finds his successor." Holland, who plans to meet with media members this afternoon, in a memo to his staff said that the "purpose of the decision was to give ECU flexibility." A source said that Holland "will retain his current salary" after the transition. He has been ECU AD since '04 and can be viewed as having "redefined" the school's athletics (Greenville DAILY REFLECTOR, 12/13).
