Published December 4, 2012
Universal Sports announced that it will move its production and broadcast operations from Southern California to Denver. The move, which will take place next year, will see Universal Sports use Comcast Media Center (CMC) for studio production facilities, distribution and other services. Comcast, which owns NBC Universal, has a minority stake in Universal Sports. The state of Colorado is giving Universal Sports a grant under its Film Incentive program for the move. The cable channel has been based in Southern California since its inception in '06.
