Don Garber Touts MLS Cup This Morning During MSNBC Appearance

MLS Commissioner Don Garber appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” today in advance of this weekend’s Galaxy-Dynamo MLS Cup. Garber said it has been a “great year” for the league, as there are “lots of exciting things going on.” He added, “We’re now the third-highest attended sport among all the major leagues, averaging over 19,000. More young people are following our sport than any other sport other than the National Football League” (“Morning Joe,” MSNBC, 11/26).

Meanwhile, Garber this afternoon will hold his State-of-the-League conference call with media members. Garber during the call will discuss the '12 season, announce the league's Best XI team and preview the MLS Cup (THE DAILY).
