NJ Transit's rail shuttle service to the Meadowlands returns this week after being "sidelined since Hurricane Sandy" and will be operational for Thursday's Patriots-Jets game and Sunday's Packers-Giants game at MetLife Stadium (NJ.com, 11/20).

The Sacramento City Council yesterday voted 8-0 to "cut off funding" for the Sacramento Sports Commission and "consolidate the panel into the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau." This comes after a "scathing audit revealed the sports commission owes the city $400,000" (SACRAMENTO BEE, 11/21).

NBC runs a full-page ad in USA Today promoting its Thanksgiving Day programming, highlighted by the 8:00pm ET Patriots-Jets game (THE DAILY).
