Football, Hockey Products Help Easton-Bell To Modest Gains
Published November 13, 2012
Easton-Bell Sports had modest sales growth in Q3 as net sales increased to $213.3M, compared to $212.5M in the year-ago period. In the period ending Sept. 29, Team Sports net sales increased $7.2M, or 6.2%, due to continued market-share gains driving double-digit growth in sales of Riddell football products and increased sales of Easton Mako hockey sticks. These gains were partially offset by lower sales of Easton baseball bats. Action Sports net sales decreased $6.4M or 6.7% during the quarter (Easton-Bell Sports).
