Trail Blazers End 195-Game Rose Garden Sellout Streak

The Trail Blazers' 195-game home sellout streak ended last night during a loss to the Hawks at the Rose Garden. The streak began in December '07. Trail Blazers President & CEO Chris McGowan started the job last week, and "one of his first acts was to issue a statement on the streak." There were "plenty of skeptics about the streak's authenticity last season as the Rose Garden was often dotted with empty seats" (OREGONLIVE.com, 11/12).
